Black Gold Pump & Supply, Inc.’s Chemical Injecton Mandrel allows producers to contnuously or batch treat wells at any locaton in the producton tubing string.
The Chemical Injecton Mandrel allows producers to fght against corrosion, parafn, wax, scale and mineral build up in the producton tubing and downstream. Other methods of injectng chemical require pulling of the pump and/or rod string, while this mandrel is set when running the tubing in the hole. With an 8RD EUE Box end on either end, this mandrel is installed like a tubing coupling.

The mandrel features a 3/8” NPT Box end connecton for easy connecton of 1/4” or 3/8” capillary tube accessories. It’s single piece body comprises no welds or fittings, eliminating potental leaks due to manufacturing defects. It’s large bypass area prevents sand from building on top and gas slugs from forming below and allows tools to be run past the mandrel when  needed. The mandrel features a large beveled botom allowing the tubing to be freely run down hole.

  • How does the Chemical Injection Mandrel work? 

    Black Gold Pump & Supply, Inc.’s Chemical Injection Mandrel allows producers to continuously or batch treat wells at any location in the production tubing string. This way, producers can strategically attack corrosion, paraffin, wax, scale and mineral build up in the production tubing and downstream. While other methods of injecting chemical require pulling of the pump and/or rod string, this mandrel is installed onto the tubing string like a coupling and requires no further manipulation. The mandrel features a 3/8” NPT Box end connection for easy connection of 1/4” or 3/8” Capillary tube accessories. The mandrel is a nickel-plated alloy-steel unibody that comprises no welds or fittings, hence eliminating potential failure due to manufacturing defects. Its large bypass area prevents sand from building on top, gas slugs from forming below, and allows tools to be run past the mandrel when needed. The mandrel’s profile is streamlined for ease of running tubing downhole.

  • Does the mandrel have a check valve?

    Yes, a check valve can be added into the assembly and is highly recommended to run with one.
